📜 Manifesto
From the earliest days of my life, I was destined to be different, to stand apart amidst a bustling family of seven. Embracing my identity as a proud nerd, I've always sought the thrill of understanding, the joy of creation, and the allure of the unexplored. My siblings may have paved their paths, but my journey, while inspired by them, has always been uniquely my own.
My years in the USAF not only honed my skills as a Crew Chief but also instilled in me a discipline, a love for machines, and a recognition of the beauty in well-oiled mechanics. These experiences became a metaphor for my life, a blend of the physical and the ethereal, finding connections between the tangible world of aviation mechanics and the intangible realm of dreams and imagination. Horror movies, with their spine-tingling mysteries and dark corners, mirror my own love for delving into the unknown, facing fears head-on, and emerging stronger and more resilient.
While the threads of family and friendship are the constants that anchor me, the diverse tapestry of my interests—from video games to home improvements, from mechanical fabricating to coding—paints a vivid portrait of a life lived fully. I believe in the power of creation, whether it be forging a new tool or crafting a line of code. In every endeavor, I see an opportunity for growth, for challenge, and for forging deeper connections with the world around me. I am, and forever will be, a proud nerd, mechanic, creator, and dreamer. I am the one called Logi Bear.
📟 Personal Projects
Non-Roman Book Editor, Feb 2024 - Current
A book editor and ebook site for my dear friend Corey. Building this out with React.js and Tailwind CSS for the front-end and using Django for the backend.
With a content management system such as Strapi, I am able to allow my clients to easily edit and manage their books without too much tech jargon for them.

Cover My Resume, August 2023:
Building on the success and utility of the "Cover Me" project, "Cover My Resume" is a frontend counterpart
designed to make the process of automated cover letter creation even more accessible. Harnessing the power and
versatility of Django, this frontend application retains all the functionalities of its predecessor, ensuring
users can easily input their resumes and job preferences. With an intuitive interface, users are guided through
each step, from uploading their resumes to receiving AI-generated cover letters tailored to their desired job
positions. By merging backend prowess with frontend simplicity, "Cover My Resume" epitomizes the ideal fusion of
functionality and user experience. Website coming soon!
Cover Me, Jul 2023:
In the age of automation and artificial intelligence, Cover Me serves as a groundbreaking backend application
that streamlines the job application process. By leveraging the command-line interface, the application
skillfully scrapes various job sites, parsing the information into neatly organized JSON files. Users have the
convenience of feeding their resumes into the system, which when combined with the job data, empowers the
integrated AI to craft tailored cover letters for matching job positions based on user specifications. Built
using Python, various job databases, Scrapfly, and the robust capabilities of the OpenAI API, Cover Me
significantly reduces the hassle and time consumed in job applications, ensuring each cover letter is
personalized and pertinent.
Pinpoint, Apr 2023:
Travelling the world or just exploring from the comfort of home has never been as immersive as with Pinpoint.
This 3D globe application redefines how we interact with GPS data, presenting a visually stunning and
informative experience based on any given location. The core of Pinpoint is built using three.js and JavaScript,
which together bring to life a vivid, interactive globe. Meanwhile, MUI components bridge the gap, facilitating
seamless communication with a Node.js Express backend. The integration of Wiki and Google APIs ensures users are
always presented with rich, contextual information about their chosen locations. Additionally, MongoDB serves as
the robust database backbone, ensuring data integrity and speed.
City Explorer, Mar 2023:
My first born full-stack app. Although not the best I have made, still proud of this one and plan to enhance it
in the future. City Explorer is the go-to application for those curious about the climatic conditions and
geographical layout of any city within the USA. With a focus on simplicity and effectiveness, users can select a
city of their choice, and the application promptly displays the current weather and a comprehensive map of the
chosen location. Developed with the power of React combined with React-Bootstrap, the frontend delivers a
responsive and intuitive user interface. The backend, powered by JavaScript, employs Axios to seamlessly connect
with the LocationIQ API, ensuring accurate and timely data is always at the fingertips of the user. If you want
to give it a try go ahead, but please allow about 30sec for the backend to wake up and then refresh the page
(perks of free).Try it out!
The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, and join the dance.
